Refund Policy

The short version
We want you to feel good about paying for Valence. If something went wrong — a duplicate charge, a technical failure, or you just changed your mind quickly — email us and we'll make it right.
What you paid for
The $3 group creation fee is a one-time lifetime payment. It creates a permanent group that any number of members can join free of charge, with no subscription or renewal ever. There are no other charges.
When we'll refund you
- Within 14 days of payment, group unused — if you created a group but no one (including you) has used it yet, we'll refund you in full, no questions asked.
- Technical failure — if you were charged but no group was created, or the product failed to function as described, you're entitled to a full refund regardless of timing.
- Duplicate charge — if you were charged more than once for the same group, we'll refund the extra charge immediately.
When we won't refund
- More than 14 days have passed and the group has been actively used (members have joined and set values).
- You simply no longer need the group — the group and its data remain accessible indefinitely.
- Members of your group didn't engage — the service was delivered; participation is outside our control.
- You deleted the group. Deletion is a voluntary, permanent action taken by the creator. It does not qualify for a refund regardless of when it occurs.
We're a small team and we try to be fair. If your situation doesn't fit neatly above, email us anyway — we'll review it honestly.
How to request a refund
Email hello@valence-app.pro with the subject line "Refund request" and include:
- — The email address you used to sign up
- — Your group code (if you have it)
- — A brief note about why you're requesting a refund
We aim to respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds are issued through Lemon Squeezy (our payment processor) and typically appear within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
